Meet your guide
I'm Ioana, and Room for Art is my way of connecting your curiosity with the works that are shaping our world. Trained at the Warburg Institute and with experience across European institutions, I've spent my career immersed in the history, technique, and ideas behind art — from Old Masters to the latest contemporary exhibitions.
My background spans both sides of the exhibition: the scholarly and the experiential. I'm as passionate about the technical craft of a painting and the discoveries of emerging artists as I am about how contemporary curators frame ideas and design experiences for a modern audience. What drives me is the conversation — the moment when a work stops being something you look at and becomes something you genuinely connect with.
RFA grew from a simple belief: the best way to understand art is to stand in front of it with someone who genuinely loves to talk about it.

How many people are on a tour?

Standard tours have up to 4 spots, though it's entirely up to you whether you fill them. Additional guests are welcome at CHF 60 per person — if possible, please let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly.
Are tours suitable for children?

Children are welcome on all tours. In gallery and museum settings, children will need to be supervised at all times — following the same rules as the rest of the group around what may and may not be touched, and being mindful of other visitors. Please note that by completing your booking, your group accepts liability for their conduct, including any damage caused. That said, curious young minds make for wonderful tour companions.
What are your payment and cancellation policies?

Payment can be made by bank transfer, Twint, Stripe, or cash. Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your place. Cancellations more than 24 hours before your tour receive a full refund. Cancellations between 5 and 24 hours prior are eligible for a 50% refund. No-shows and cancellations within 5 hours of departure are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please get in touch as early as possible and I'll do my best to find an alternative date.
